Shura has premiered new single ‘What’s It Gonna Be?’, which first aired as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record and arrives ahead of her much-anticipated debut album, ‘Nothing’s Real’ (released July 8th via Polydor). Shura headlines Koko on June 1st – rescheduled from Shepherd’s Bush Empire owing to ongoing construction work at the venue – with support from Pumarosa: many more festivals will follow this summer, including the likes of Primavera, Parklife, Love Saves the Day, Secret Garden Party, Wilderness and End of the Road.

‘What’s It Gonna Be?’ is a euphoric mix of motoring, Bruce-Springsteen-inspired rock and affecting R&B vocals, co-produced with Greg Kurstin in L.A. From its “Do I tell you I love you, or not?” opening, lyrically ‘What’s It Gonna Be?’ describes an attraction to someone who’s unavailable, and the crushing reality of a relationship which failed (but never actually started).
