Bristol’s Rebecca Clements has announced the release of her debut EP entitled ‘Pure Wasted’, released on March 30th. Featuring new track ‘Pure Wasted’, plus ‘Comaboy’ and ‘Wildlife’, the three track EP showcases Rebecca’s delicate songwriting and relatable story telling. Championed by XFM as one of their great Xpectations for 2015, Rebecca worked with Irish musician Iain Archer on production duties. Iain has worked with artists such as Jake Bugg and Bat for Lashes as well as being nominated for a 2013 Ivor Novello award for best song. The EP combines Archer’s knowledge and experience with Rebecca’s natural ability to write gripping melodies.

‘Pure Wasted’ is about the toxicity of love and lets Rebecca’s haunting, but equally beautiful voice shine through softly strummed guitar swirls. The lyrics bring home the reality of a broken love and are passionately narrated by Clements.
