If you think dance music is all about the big weighty¬†drops and awkwardly screechy top lines, you are wrong. For me, that sort of music feels forced and produced without any thoughtfulness. This, on the other hand, is made with intent to invoke an emotive response; it’s not a track you only want to play a certain snippet off. This needs to played out in full. Ironically, though,¬†the very first chords at the beginning remind me of a certain Deadmau5 tune.
