With that raw lead synth, this track sounds more like a Police Academy theme tune. Their ability to find the most perfect vocal snippet is unrivalled; creating unreal suspense with panache – they really are pioneering the 90s vibes. Loving the drum arrangement of this song too, bringing the focus on building suspense with pulsating pads, slapping claps, and the enigmatic, yet truly captivating vocal samples. TRULY SATISFIED.
This time the boys experiment with that vintage Chicago house sound with again, flawless drum arrangement. Staying true to themselves, this stripped down, no nonsense, hyper retro track focusses heavily on the piano riffs and percussion to keep things minimal yet still producing a layered head-bobber that is truly dimensional in every aspect. It’s easy to use this classic piano sound and turn it something catchy, but so difficult to keep your listeners intent throughout the track, and it’s exactly what the Belfast duo have done with this one.
B2 THE FINAL TRIP
This one is slamming – that percussion alone is enough to send you in a trance but when it’s thrown into the blender with that freaky acid bass line and topped off with the pads in the breakdown, it churns out a track that can only be described as RUDE – the Northern Irish lads are at it again!
